Are you interested in learning underwater photography while diving on a reef in Barbados? Do you want to learn how to identify marine life? Interested in making a deep dive or a night dive? Want to improve your buoyancy skills or try NITROX? These are just a few of the specialty skills taught in the Adventure Diving & Specialty Diver programs.
An Adventure Dive is the first dive in a specialty area combined with a brief academic session. Adventure Dives introduce the diver to new skills and provide an opportunity to practice the new skills while diving with the instructor.
Open Water Divers that complete three different Adventure Dives receive Adventure Diver Certification.
Open Water or Adventure Divers that complete the Navigation Adventure Dive, the Deep Adventure Dive and three additional (different) Adventure Dives receive Advanced Open Water Certification.
Specialty Diver Courses provide more in-depth academic and in-water training in each of the specialty areas. With the completion of each specialty course the diver receives a Specialty Diver Certification in that specialty.
